Cultivate Essential Habits 

Determine the critical habits that are fundamental to your success, regardless of market conditions or external factors affecting your performance. Note your key habits in the provided diagram below and then incorporate them into your Performance Business Plan.

Example Habits:

  • Networking Consistency: Aim to schedule three meetings per week with potential partners.
  • Strategic Partner Collaboration: Hold monthly planning sessions with partners.
  • Skill Enhancement: Dedicate two hours each week at a fixed time for practicing or acquiring new skills.
  • Client Engagement: Commit to making five calls to loyal clients daily, and set this as a repeated task.
  • Financial Reviews: Conduct annual financial reviews with your clients that closed this month last year. (see annual financial review below)
  • Team Coordination: Establish a recurring weekly team meeting to discuss goals, set for every Monday at 9 a.m.
  • Project Management: Organize daily meetings to review the status of the pipeline.


Strategic Project Planning

In this phase, your focus is on identifying and prioritizing transformative projects for the upcoming year that will significantly enhance your business operations.

  • Project Selection: Decide on three to five key projects you plan to implement next year. These should be initiatives that will bring substantial improvements and changes to your business.
  • Prioritization and Scheduling: For each selected project, determine its priority level and assign a target completion date.
  • Documentation and Integration: Record the details of these projects in the spaces provided below. Once documented, make sure to integrate this information into your Performance Business Plan for effective tracking and implementation.
