My Story
Dave grew up in the small town of Walker, Louisiana where he left at the age of 19 to serve the people of Portugal and Cape Verde for 2 years. That experience sparked a lifelong love of people, travel, and adventure. After attending college in Hawaii, Dave eventually settled in Draper, Utah, where he has built a life centered around faith, family, and service. He has been married to his wife Becka since 2006, and together they are raising four active children who keep life moving at full speed. When not in the office, Dave can often be found coaching young men on the baseball diamond or football field.
Professionally, Dave has been a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator since 2004 and Mortgage Executive since 2023. He currently oversees the Salt Lake Region at SecurityNational Mortgage while continuing to originate and train. Over the course of his career, he has originated more than $1 billion in home loans and has been recognized as a top producer both within his company and nationally, including ranking several times in the Top 1% of mortgage originators in the United States. Dave’s focus remains on delivering exceptional service, building lasting relationships, and helping families achieve the American Dream.
