My Story
Bonnie Marlette has spent 24 years in the mortgage industry in the Vail Valley. She grew up in Colorado and Virginia, graduated from CSU, and was drawn to the business knowing it was a 100% commission career where she could control her own destiny and earn based on how hard she worked. It also gave her the flexibility to raise her two boys here in the valley while providing for her family. The best part of the work, she’ll tell you, has been helping so many locals and first-time buyers achieve homeownership. She’s grateful for a career that’s let her support so many families and get to know the hardworking people in her community.
Like many Coloradans, Bonnie loves to ski, hike, bike, and camp. Her ski partner is her dad, who recently celebrated his 81st birthday with a blue-sky ski day. She also loves to travel, recently exploring Switzerland with her oldest son, and every summer she and her boys head back to the Outer Banks for three generations of competitive bocce and time in the waves. She’s also involved in Bible Study Fellowship, where leading small groups over the last few years has been deeply rewarding. Looking ahead, she’s excited to keep helping families into homes and to watch her own children settle into their adult lives.
