My Story
A Manti, Utah native who still happily calls it home, Kris has spent nearly 28 years in the mortgage industry. He got his start as a young newlywed at Snow College, when a friend recruited him into the business. He worked as a broker for 14 years, then opened a retail branch for SecurityNational 14 years ago this month. What he values most in the work are the friendships he’s built along the way. He considers every client a friend, and hopes they feel the same.
Outside the office, Kris is happiest in the mountains or on the water, whether that’s hiking, snowboarding, wakesurfing, or a round of golf. He’s spent the past 10 years with the Utah Honor Flight, where he treasures time with veterans and their stories. Most of all, he loves being with his family, his wife of many years, who’s also been his processor for the last 13, along with their five kids and two grandchildren. Nothing beats a night of games and stories together.
