Hi, I’m Justin Pater

I’m not much for formal introductions, so let’s just skip straight to it. I love what I do, I love the company I work for, and I love connecting with people who are looking for something worth getting excited about. Take a look around, and let’s keep in touch.

My Story

Born in Des Moines, Iowa and raised in Holladay, Utah, Justin Pater has been around real estate his whole life and now calls Park City home. He started in the mortgage industry in 2003 at the lock desk and as a wholesale account executive, and in 2011 he began building retail offices for SecurityNational Mortgage. Over two decades in, his approach still comes back to the same thing: people and relationships. He’s built his career on understanding what clients are working toward and helping them get there.

Outside of work, Justin’s life centers on faith and family. He met his wife in eighth grade and they’ve been married since 2007, and together they keep up with three teenagers and two dogs. He’s a committed outdoorsman and an avid fly fisherman and snowboarder, and his ministry is an important part of who he is.

Why Do I choose SNMC?

Family of Companies

SNMC is part of Security National Financial Corporation, a family of companies spanning mortgage, insurance, and more. That diversification gives me a foundation most lenders can’t offer.

Office & Awards

Our headquarters reflects how the company invests in its people. It’s built for the long haul, not the next quarter.

Culture & Tenure

The people here stick around, and that says everything. I’ve built real relationships with teammates who want to see me succeed.

Exclusive Products

SNMC builds proprietary loan products in-house that I can’t find anywhere else. That means more ways to say yes to my borrowers.

A little More of Me

Because who you work with matters just as much as where you work — here’s a little more of the person behind the title.
